Our Work

Hear about what happens when we work together to design and develop accessible experiences

Why did you choose Equal Entry?

Equal Entry has many years of experience in the accessibility space and a track record of high-quality work, but most importantly for us, they constantly stay up to date with the evolution of accessibility standards, legal atmosphere, and technology. Equal Entry is one of the few organizations that has significant expertise in the virtual and augmented reality industry, which we at Transfr value highly since that is the primary technology we work with.

Why did you choose Equal Entry?

First, Equal Entry has helped us become (and stay) compliant with the accessibility requirements that are critical for the institutions where instructors and students use Perusall. More importantly, making Perusall available and useful for all students and instructors is one of our organization's key values. Equal Entry has helped educate us about how to design our interface to continually work towards living that value.

What did you like about working with Equal Entry and what we did for you?

It has truly been a delight to work with the designated PM in the remediation sessions. Our goal is always continuous improvement — to address as many of the identified issues as we can — and as a startup we like to rapidly iterate. Our designated PM and Equal Entry have been a great partner to work with to do that — I’ve found the collaborative nature of the remediation sessions to be very helpful in helping us think through complex issues to figure out how to not only make the product more accessible but also identify those cases where we can make a change that will improve the product for everyone.
